September - Pet of the Month - Gracie
A very courageous ADLR volunteer was driving in South Central LA when she saw a group of young men throwing rocks at a puppy, whose legs were tied with a rope. Our volunteer jumped out of her car, braved the verbal threats from the men and grabbed little Gracie.
Luckily, Gracie did not endure any permanent injuries from the abuse and has grown to be such a beautiful, well balanced dog. She is joy of her foster home and gets along with all the family members; cats, dogs, children.
Gracie is waiting for her forever home.
