Support Supernatural sent Alli and Julia, the ladies at A Dog's Life Rescue" some interview questions and they sent us a video response. Check it out HERE

As we all know by now, Jared Padalecki endorsed the organization "A Dog's Life Rescue" run by Allison Lange and Julia Pennington. Last year we were approached by Jared's publicist and asked to hold off on our 2009 campaign until the endorsement could become official. As soon as it did we took off and were able to raise almost over $17,000 for them. This year we want to crush that number and almost double it to $30,000. Crazy we know but, we know the awesome fans of Supernatural are up for it. So here were are: January 4th, 2010 and in the words of the late, great Kim Manners, let's "kick it in the ass - ACTION!!"

Here's a little about the rescue (taken from their site): A Dog's Life Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization in Los Angeles, California. After the disband of Connect-A-Pet Rescue in early 2005 partners Julia Pennington and Allison Lange joined together to form A Dog's Life Rescue. Our mission is to save the lives of abandoned, abused, or neglected dogs and other animals, by providing shelter, care, and medical attention to homeless animals through adoption, adoption events, and community outreach. Further, to promote animal welfare and the importance of spaying and neutering.

In an additional note, ALL staff at "A Dog's Life Rescue" are volunteers which means 100% of all donations will be going to the animals!

What People Are Saying

We have had a few people send us very nice notes about Supernatural, the campaign and what we are doing. We would like to share a few with you. Thank you all for your support!!

It’s More Awareness and Nothing Else by Alice Jester

"I feel like often people think of 'being a fan' as a passive thing. You watch a show or you go see a movie or you buy a CD, but the work that Support Supernatural is doing shows that being a fan can be an active thing that, at the risk of sounding cliched, makes the world a better place. Being a part of this fandom is like nothing I've ever experienced before. The love we have for the show is incredible and I'm so proud to be a fan." -Sara Meeks

For Support Supernatural And A Dog's Life Rescue And Jared by yaya_wr8t3r of Live Journal

"I can't imagine anything better than combining two of my all-time favorite activities - Supernatural and animal welfare! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful efforts!!!" -Cyndi Pripusich

"My love of Supernatural and animals has brought many great joys over this past year. (I only found the FANDOM in 2009.) I was a "lone wolf" before this year in reference to watching Supernatural. I never knew that the MINIONS were out there. THANK GOD I FOUND THEM AND YOU!!!!! Not only have I made and met some great friends because of this great show, but I have also begun to live my life more. I have MD and Fibromyalgia, and I had almost given in and stayed lock in my room, but through the love of the show and volunteering for animal rights and other animal related projects, I have my life back, and it's better then ever," -Michelle Mingo
