Fan of the Month - September

CONGRATULATIONS to Christina. for being our September 2010 FAN OF THE MONTH!

Here is one of the nomination letters we received for Christina!

I nominate Christina **** for Supernatural Fan of the Month. Christina is the biggest fan of SPN that I know, literally. She always has/knows/uses a SPN reference in a conversation, and it's always hilarious. She's quite a know-it-all when it comes to SPN, like if I actually have a question about it, she'll know it without having to search for anything. Not to mention, she requested that I make her a ringtone of Dean saying "PUDDING!" :D She's converted quite a few people to SPN who end up loving it just as much as her.

SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?

Christina: Growing up, my mom and my grandmother were both fans of the soap opera "Days of Our Lives", and I always loved Jensen as Eric Brady. So when my mom found out he was going to be on a new show about paranormal stuff (something I have been very interested in for as long as I can remember) I saw no reason NOT to tune in and check it out!!

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Christina: Wow, that is a hard question to answer!! Umm... I'll probably have to say "Mystery Spot" right off the top of my head. As funny as the episode was, it showed just how painful it was for Sam to come to terms with the fact that no matter what he could try to do, there was no chance of him being able to save Dean from heading down to the pit. It definitely tugs at your heartstrings.

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Christina: I'm probably going to have to join a few other fans and say that "Route 666" is probably my least favourite. It just didn't do anything for me and it's the one episode that I have no problem NOT watching when having a Supernatural marathon.

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Christina: That is a toss-up!! Probably Yellow Eyes or Ruby. Yellow Eyes because he's the one that got the ball rolling with the Winchesters and he just holds that tender place in my heart. Not to mention, I absolutely LOVED how Fredric Lehne played him... his attitude, his mannerisms... everything! Just loved him!! And Ruby... ugh... in Season 3, you're almost okay with her. You think to yourself, "Maybe she IS a different demon". Then here comes the end of Season 4 and you realize she is nothing more than a double crosser!!

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Christina: Oh my... in any way I can!! I'm constantly talking about it with anyone who will listen, posting random stuff related to it on my Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter.... staring at my Supernatural poster in my room... oh wait. But yeah... I even send a little bit of information about it to the buyers of the company I work for to see if they just might get the company to sell the merchandise!

SSN: Do you prefer one of the boys over the other? If so, which one?

Christina: I try not to have a preference, because I love both Sam and Dean so much for both the same AND different reasons... but Dean is definitely a little higher up on my "OMFG" list. His sense of humour just melts my heart, not to mention how protective he is of his family.

SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?

Christina: Probably "Abandon All Hope". I keep thinking, if they just had ONE more person, maybe Jo and Ellen would still be alive... I loved them so much. They were two badass chicks who know how to get the job done, not to mention, their closeness reminded me so much of my mom and I... it was THE MOST difficult episode for me to watch, and still is to this day.

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Christina: Papa Winchester. That was so easy!!

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Christina: Either with Sam and Dean going out in a blaze of glory, or with them as the sole survivors in a major battle between heaven and hell, drinking a beer.

SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?

Christina: Bones, mostly. Lately, I really haven't been watching nearly as much TV as I used to, but I definitely look forward to Bones and Supernatural coming back for Season 6 :-)
