SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?

Mel: I actually saw commercials and a newspaper ad for the show the summer before the Pilot aired and I thought it looked like a really interesting and cool show. Plus I saw it had Jensen who I had been watching on Smallville the season before so I knew I had to watch since I’ve been a fan of his since the Dark Angel days.

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Mel: This one is easy and it has forever been my favourite. Devil’s Trap. I love that the boys do everything they can to try and save their Dad. I love the exorcism scene with Meg. Jensen’s intensity blew me away. IMO he should have won an Emmy because of this eppy. I love the scene in the hideaway house between Dean & Sam when Dean is talking about killing Meg and “that guy”. The “I didn't hesitate, I didn't even flinch” line gets me every time. Then the twist when Daddy W is possessed by the YED was shocking and JDM totally rocked that scene. And who can forget the gut-wrenching cliffhanger of the Impala and the semi. You didn’t know who was going to live or die. I think it will forever be my favourite episode.

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Mel: Fallen Idols…there was just something that bugged me about the eppy and it’s one that I have a hard time bringing myself to rewatch. Maybe it’s the Paris Hilton thing? I’m not sure.

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Mel: Meg has always been my favourite villain. From her intro in Scarecrow right thru to Abandon All Hope she always manages to make the boys lives miserable in one way or another and she’s lasted 5 seasons. What other villains can say that?

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Mel: First and foremost I wear my Dean amulet everywhere! It gives me any opportunity to tell people about the show when they ask me about the cool necklace I’m wearing. I also have t-shirts that I wear when I’m out and about. I post about the show to my Facebook, Twitter and Myspace pages. I also ask people if they watch the show and tell them about it if they’ve never heard of it and say what a wonderful show it is and that they should watch.

SSN: Do you prefer one of the boys over the other? If so, which one?

Mel: I’ve always been more partial to Dean. Mostly because of the hotness that is Jensen. I love the bad boy outside and the sensitive inside that Dean has and he has a great sense of humour.

SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?

Mel: I think it would be Dead Man’s Blood. I’d love to be fighting alongside all 3 of the Winchester men kickin some vampire hiney.

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Mel: Ash!!!! I’ve always thought that it wasn’t him in the burned out Roadhouse. I’d love to see him come back and help the boys for an episode.

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Mel: The final episode in my mind is when they defeat whatever big bad it is that they’ve been fighting all season and the boys standing at the trunk of the Impala, they both look at each other and say “We’ve got work to do” and Dean closes the trunk and the screen goes black. The end!

SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?

Mel: Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, Flash Forward, Gossip Girl, 90210, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Smallville, American Idol, Being Erica.
