Fan of the Month - May

I'm throwing Kaye.'s name into the nomination hat for Fan of the Month. Her tireless enthusiasm for "Supernatural," and her long-term promotion of the show--and all things connected to it--make Kaye. a standout among even the most ardent fans of the "SN" culture.

In addition to promoting the show, Kaye. is a one-woman tour de force when it comes to getting word out about "SN"-related events, promotions, charities, and fan causes. If I see something tweeted, Faced, 'spaced, or Yahooed regarding "SN," chances are, it was passed along by Kaye.. She's the go-to source of current events for me and many other fans who, thanks to her unending passion and vigorous dissemination, can stay in the loop with minimal effort. Kaye. is the true definition of an "SN" fan and friend: loyal, generous, passionate, loving, concerned, selfless, and energetic.

It's for these reasons and many more that I would like for you to consider Kaye. for Fan of the Month recognition.

SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?

Kaye: My sister said a cool show was coming on the WB and i had seen the promos. I was excited because it had “Eric Brady” in it from Days of our Lives (DOOL). I loved Jensen in DOOL & followed him in Dark Angel & Smallville. I was hooked from The moment that the show started & have not missed an episode yet!

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Kaye: There are so many but I would have to say All Hell Breaks Loose both parts. You see how much family means to both boys but especially to Dean. Jensen broke my heart when he held a dying Sammy (I was in tears) & when he “talked” with dead Sammy about their childhood. You see what lengths Dean would go for family. Jensen should have won an award for that performance. He was awesome!

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Kaye: Bugs - I could just never connect with this episode.

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Kaye: I have two (sorry): YED will always be my favorite! Even when he was not in a scene he was always the “monkey” on the boys back. And Fred Lehne played him awesomely snarky to the end! And I have come to love Lucifer! He is a wonderful villain and they could not have found a better actor than Mark Pellegrino.

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Kaye: I promote it any way I can - by helping with promoting cons, fundraisers & websites; wearing my amulet all the time along with my “Dean’s bracelets” & Dean’s ring. (LOL); talking with people that I know at work and people I meet; show video clips off my phone to friends. Even my car helps out! My license plate says SPRNTRL. Supernatural is such an awesome show that has brought so many people together, it's amazing.

SSN: Do you prefer one of the boys over the other? If so, which one?

Kaye: Not really. Both boys compliment each other. They are Yin/Yang and they play off of each other perfectly. You have Dean’s snarkiness but inside he is sensitive & funny. Sam is/was innocent but inside he is fierce & protective of family in his own way. And they both are HOT!

SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?

Kaye: Any episode that I could drive the Impala! And fight along side both boys of course!

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Kaye: HANDS DOWN! JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN!

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Kaye: WHAT? It can never end! LOL! Seriously, I want it to end on a high note - both boys NOT riding into the sunset, but to be occasional hunters with a life too. Too much has happened for them to have the “perfect” life but I could see Sam and Dean running a Roadhouse of their own with the families they have always dreamed of.. But whatever Kripke has in store for us I will accept. It is and has been a great ride!

SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?

Kaye: Sanctuary, Bones, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, American Idol, and reruns of Stargate SG1 & Atlantis.
